Crop Images Visually or to Exact Pixels
Drag the box over the part of the picture you want to keep, pull any of its eight handles, lock a ratio such as 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, or type exact pixel values. Everything happens in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
Your image is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Many online editors send your photo to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Crop Image: frequently asked questions
How do I crop an image to exact dimensions?
Type the width and height you need in pixels, then set X and Y to choose where the crop starts from the top-left corner. The box on the preview updates to match, so you can fine-tune it by dragging before you click Crop.
Does cropping reduce image quality?
No. Cropping keeps a rectangle of the original pixels without scaling them, and the result is saved in the original format — losslessly for PNG, and at high quality for JPG. The cropped area looks just as it did in the original.
How do I crop a photo into a square?
Choose the 1:1 ratio and drag the box over your subject; it stays square as you resize it. For a round profile picture instead of a square one, use the Circle Crop tool.
Can I crop images on my phone?
Yes. The crop box and its handles respond to touch, so you can drag and resize it with your finger on iPhone and Android browsers. Because nothing is uploaded, cropping stays quick even on a slow mobile connection, and the result downloads straight to your device.
Are my photos uploaded when I crop them?
No. The image is opened and cropped with your browser's canvas engine on your own device, so it's never transmitted to ImageSpark or a third party. That makes the cropper safe for ID documents, private family photos and confidential screenshots.
