Crop an Image Into a Circle
Turn any photo into a round avatar or logo. Drag and zoom to frame the face or subject, choose a transparent, white or coloured background, and save a PNG ready to drop onto any design. The circle is cut in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
Your image is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Many online editors send your photo to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Circle Crop: frequently asked questions
How do I crop an image into a circle?
Drop the photo into Circle Crop, drag and zoom until your subject sits in the circle, choose a background, and click Crop to Circle. ImageSpark saves the result as a PNG, ready to upload as a profile picture or place in a design.
How do I choose which part of the photo ends up in the circle?
Drag the photo to move it inside the circle and zoom in or out to frame it. What you see inside the circle is exactly what's saved, so an off-centre face or logo is easy to line up.
Why download a PNG instead of a JPG?
PNG supports transparency, so the corners outside the circle stay see-through and the image sits cleanly on any background color. JPG has no transparency, which would fill the corners with a solid color. Choose the white or black background option if a platform requires a non-transparent image.
Does Circle Crop reduce image quality?
No. At Full resolution the pixels inside the circle keep their original detail and PNG output is lossless. Choose 1024, 512 or 256 px if you want a smaller file for a profile picture.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The circular crop is done by your browser on your own device, so your headshot or logo is never sent to a server. The tool is included in the Free plan, adds no watermark to the result, and works without creating an account.
