Add a Text Watermark to Your Photos

Stamp your name, website, copyright notice or logo onto photos before you share them. Adjust size, opacity, colour, angle and position with a live preview, while the image stays on your own device the whole time.

Your image is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Many online editors send your photo to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Add Watermark: frequently asked questions

How do I add a watermark to a photo?

Drop the photo in, type your watermark text or choose a logo, and set the size, opacity, angle and position while watching the live preview. Click Add Watermark and download the result. The whole process runs in your browser, so the original photo is never uploaded to a server.

Can I add a logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose Logo / image, pick your logo (a PNG with a transparent background works best) and set its width as a percentage of the photo, then adjust opacity and position. A semi-transparent logo in a corner, or tiled across the image, works well for portfolios and product shots.

Where should I put a watermark so it can't be cropped out?

Choose Tile to repeat the text across the entire image, or place a larger, semi-transparent watermark in the center. Corner watermarks look cleaner but can be cropped off in seconds. A tiled mark at low opacity balances protection with keeping the photo pleasant to view.

Can I watermark multiple photos at once?

Yes. Drop up to 100 images and the batch queue applies the same watermark settings to each one, then lets you download every result. Batch processing is included with the watermark tool on ImageSpark Pro and Lifetime.

Is the watermark tool free?

The watermark tool is part of ImageSpark Pro and Lifetime, alongside batch processing and the other advanced tools. You can choose Pro Yearly at $40 USD per year or Lifetime at $99 USD once, paid with Bitcoin. Core tools such as Compress, Resize and Convert remain free for 5 operations a day.

Are my photos uploaded when I add a watermark?

No. ImageSpark draws the watermark onto your image with your browser's canvas engine, entirely on your device. Unpublished photos and client work are never transmitted, stored or seen by anyone else, which is especially important when the reason you're watermarking is to protect the images.
