Blur or Pixelate Parts of an Image
Drag a box over anything you want to hide, such as a face, license plate, address or account number, and choose blur, pixelate or a solid box. The edit happens on your device, so the unredacted original is never uploaded anywhere.
Your image is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. Many online editors send your photo to their servers and delete it later — this one never receives it at all.

Blur & Pixelate: frequently asked questions
How do I blur part of a picture?
Drop the image in and drag a rectangle over the area you want to hide. Add more rectangles for other areas, choose Blur, set the strength, and click Apply. Download the PNG and share that copy. Only the marked areas change, while the rest of the photo stays sharp.
Should I blur or pixelate?
Both hide details well at high strength. Blur gives a softer, more natural look that suits faces in photos. Pixelate creates obvious blocks that signal intentional censoring. For anything genuinely sensitive, such as account numbers, a solid box is safest because nothing of the original remains.
Can blurred or pixelated text be recovered?
Light blurring or small pixel blocks over short text, such as a few digits, can sometimes be partly reconstructed by a determined person. Use a high strength and make the box a little larger than the text. For the most sensitive details, use a solid box, which replaces the pixels completely.
How do I blur a face in a photo?
Drag a box that covers the whole face, including a little margin around it, and choose Blur with a high strength. Repeat for each person you want to hide. The tool doesn't detect faces automatically, so you stay in control of exactly which areas are hidden and which stay visible.
Is it safe to redact images online?
It is with ImageSpark, because nothing goes online: the blur or pixelation is applied by your browser on your own device, and the unedited photo is never uploaded. That matters when the whole reason you're editing is to keep a face, an address or a document number private.
