ImageSpark V2

As you may, or may not, know, ImageSpark V2 has been under development for quite some time now. I’ve ran in to many problems, and lost concentration, along the way. I’m finally focusing on finishing it again. Version 2 will have many new improvements. I’ll list some of them below:

  • User profiles
  • 10MB upload limit
  • Unlimited bandwidth
  • Uploading from URL
  • Photo albums

Along with that, I’m looking in to custom URLs for users and the ability to comment on pictures. These are just a few, but the final release will have many more.

For the last week, I’ve been thinking about the design. I’ve had one created, for version 2, for a while, but it hit me; will the older users still like using ImageSpark? It will be a drastic change to the site and has me wondering if it will be for the better. So I decided to create this blog so I can interact with the people who matter; the users!

So here is my question to you! What makes you keep coming back to ImageSpark instead of using the bigger sites, such as PhotoBucket?

I’m hoping I can get some ideas and implement them with the new design so everyone will be happy. So, please, leave a comment and help me out on this. I want to make sure it’s as good as possible before I release it. There’s still work to be done, but I’d like to get all this info before continuing.

Thanks,

-Chris
